EMC and System Validation Technician (m/f/d)

Become part of SECO Northern Europe. At our locations in Hamburg, Wuppertal, Stuttgart, and Chennai/India, we are a team of around 190 employees. Together, we develop and produce state-of-the-art technological solutions, from miniaturized computers to fully customized integrated systems that combine hardware and software.

Responsibilities

  • Performing EMC tests and temperature testing according to defined test plans and applicable standards
  • Preparing and commissioning test samples for various test procedures
  • Creating cables, adapters, and other accessories to support test setups as needed
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and optimizing test samples in close collaboration with the development team
  • Creating structured test reports based on existing templates
  • Operating, maintaining, and servicing in-house test stations and equipment
  • Working closely with product developers to ensure smooth test execution

Requirements:

  • Completed apprenticeship as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or an equivalent qualification
  • Ideally, initial hands-on experience with EMC testing and temperature tests in climate chambers
  • Confident use of measurement equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Basic knowledge of spectrum analyzers is a plus
  • Precise, structured, and eager-to-learn working style
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Good English skills for communication within an international team
