Site Maintenance Leader – Cocoa / OSCO
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Industry: Industrial Production / Engineering / Energy Management
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Maintenance Leader to join our team at one of our key cocoa production sites. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of all utility systems and technical site infrastructure, while driving continuous improvement in energy usage and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the maintenance and operation of utility systems including electricity, gas, compressed air, steam, water, and cooling systems
Ensure compliance with legal and internal safety requirements, while maintaining high availability of all systems
Analyze monthly energy KPIs and identify opportunities for energy reduction
Plan and implement technical projects to improve energy efficiency in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Oversee building services and the spare parts warehouse
Lead and develop a dedicated technical team, ensuring high performance and engagement
Manage the distribution of workwear and ensure safety standards across the site
Qualifications:
Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including leadership responsibilities
Strong background in utility systems and energy supply
Experience in project management and working with SAP
Excellent command of German and English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and employee development
Solid understanding of occupational safety and energy management practices
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
