Manager (m/f/d) Reefer Control Tower - #2117660

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reefer Control Tower Manager (m/f/d) to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional support and schedule transparency to our most important fresh fruit clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer retention, identifying operational and commercial bottlenecks, and driving process improvements to enhance the overall customer experience. As a specialist in the Reefer Control Tower, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing service levels to exceed market requirements and drive business growth.

• Act as primary contact for selected customers, building and maintaining strong relationships via email, phone, and during customer visits
• Identify pain points and address them with relevant stakeholders to take corrective measures in favor of our customers
• Work independently in the day-to-day, closely aligning with peers in Hamburg, Bogotá, and Cape Town on ideas and initiatives for your clients
• Share status updates, knowledge, and best practices with immediate colleagues and extended teams in regions and areas
• Find solutions thinking out of the box to provide support for customer requirements, in alignment with in-house stakeholders
• Develop the Reefer Control Tower and our reefer strategy in line with and beyond market requirements
• Conduct small studies or analysis to support the Reefer Control Tower expansion within the Global Reefer strategy
• Take ownership for your specific field of expertise and ensure quality standards are being met
• Improve processes and take initiative to reduce workload through automation
• Represent the Reefer Control Tower during fairs, customer meetings, or internal strategy alignments

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship as liner shipping professional or similar qualification
• Self-motivated, customer minded and reliable team player
• Analytical, structured and efficient working style
• Sense of urgency, ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize work accordingly
• Open to change, agile mindset and good communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS-office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge of HL applications (WebFocus, CRM, Compass, QlikView, FIS) or the willingness to learn the handling of the tools
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Good command of written and spoken Spanish would be well regarded
