Technical Expert Marine Customer Center (m/f/d)

YOUR MISSION:

• Classification and Statutory Support: Support of vessels for our customers based in Germany in accordance with international classification and regulatory requirements
• Service Organization: Organization and coordination of our services in collaboration with our worldwide field service team
• Class Change Management: Preparation and execution of class changes and technical transitions
• Certification & Documentation: Issuance of certificates and classification and statutory documents
• Authority Communication: Communication and coordination with flag state administrations and authorities
• Customer Care & Support: Customer-oriented consulting and proactive communication on technical and administrative matters
• Availability & Readiness: Availability outside regular working hours when required
  
  

YOUR SKILLS:

• Degree in Ship Operation Technology or equivalent technical qualification in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding or electrical engineering
• Several years of active seafaring experience as technical officer or experience as shipping company inspector, in shipbuilding or the maritime supply industry
• Experience as surveyor or technical expert of an IACS classification society is advantageous
• Customer orientation and solution-oriented working approach
• Fluent in German and English (strong verbal and written communication)
