This job is for you who are passionate about air freight operations and want to take the next step into the specialised world of aerospace logistics. As part of our growing Aerospace Logistics team in Germany, you will work with time-critical shipments that help keep aircraft moving and customers operating worldwide. Some of the cargo you handle may include aircraft components, aviation equipment and urgent operational shipments where precision, speed and proactive communication make all the difference.

About The Role
As a Freight Forwarding Agent, Aerospace, you will be responsible for managing international shipments from booking through to final delivery. Working closely with customers, airlines, customs authorities, suppliers and colleagues across our global network, you will help ensure that critical cargo reaches its destination safely, efficiently and on time.
You will be part of a specialised logistics environment where operational excellence, attention to detail and customer focus are essential. While aerospace experience is valuable, we believe that talented air freight professionals can successfully transition into this industry and develop their expertise alongside experienced colleagues.

In Aerospace Logistics, every shipment matters. When an aircraft is waiting for a critical component or a customer is facing operational downtime, teamwork becomes essential.
You will work closely with colleagues, airlines, handling agents and partners across our global network to ensure that urgent aerospace shipments keep moving. Together, we combine specialist expertise, operational discipline and a strong sense of responsibility to deliver when timing is critical.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating international aerospace and air freight shipments
- Managing export and import operations across global trade lanes
- Supporting customers with time-critical transportation requirements
- Booking freight with airlines and selecting the most suitable transport solutions
- Coordinating with customs authorities and handling customs formalities
- Monitoring shipments proactively and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders
- Preparing and validating shipping and transport documentation
- Working closely with international Blue Water offices, partners and suppliers
- Maintaining operational control from collection through to final delivery

- Experience within air freight forwarding, export or import operations
- Knowledge of customs processes and international transportation documentation
- Experience coordinating shipments with airlines, agents or global freight networks
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a dynamic operational environment
- Good English communication skills
- German language skills are highly desirable
- Aerospace logistics experience
- Experience with aircraft components or aviation-related cargo
- Knowledge of AOG (Aircraft on Ground) operations
