Aufgabengebiet

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and drive the technical implementation of a Fortinet rollout project within an enterprise environment
  • Install, configure, and deploy FortiGate Firewalls and FortiSwitch infrastructure
  • Administer and optimize existing Fortinet environments
  • Manage firewall and switch configurations centrally through FortiManager
  • Support site rollouts, migrations, and cutover activities
  • Implement network and security best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents
  • Support routing, VLAN, and VPN implementations
  • Perform configuration reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, network teams, and external partners
  • Provide knowledge transfer and operational handover support to internal teams

Anforderungsprofil

Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have

  • Several years of hands-on experience with the Fortinet Security Portfolio
  • Strong expertise in:
    • FortiGate Firewalls
    • FortiManager
    • FortiSwitch
  • Proven experience in rollout, migration, or transformation projects
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static Routing)
    • VLAN design and switching
    • VPN technologies (IPsec and SSL VPN)
    • Network and IT Security
  • Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network environments
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
Nice-to-Have

  • German language skills
  • Czech language skills
  • Experience with FortiAnalyzer
  • Knowledge of Fortinet Security Fabric architecture
  • Fortinet certifications (FCP, FCSS, FCX)
  • Experience in international enterprise environments
  • Experience with automation and scripting
