Join our ESG Legal team and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of sustainability, regulation, and aviation. Support the implementation of new ESG requirements, including the European Green Deal, and explore their impact on a global aviation and MRO company. Work closely with experts and see how legal frameworks shape business practice.

Tasks

• Gaining practical skills with a focus on monitoring and assessment of emerging German and European ESG regulations, with a particular focus on the European Green Deal
• Conducting legal research and preparing background analyses on sustainability-related regulatory developments
• Supporting the evaluation of legal implications and business impacts of ESG regulations for Lufthansa Technik
• Assisting in the preparation of management presentations, decision papers, and communication materials on ESG legal topics
• Contributing to the implementation of ESG regulatory requirements through cross-functional projects
• Supporting collaboration with industry associations (e.g. BDLI), working groups, and external stakeholders
• Participating in workshops, expert discussions, and team meetings across the Lufthansa Technik Group
• Taking on selected organizational and administrative tasks within ongoing ESG projects

Requirements

• At the time of the internship, you are enrolled in a Law degree program (preferably from the third semester onwards) or a related field, with a strong interest in European regulatory affairs and sustainability
• Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
• Practical experience in European, public, environmental, sustainability, compliance or business law is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• High attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Very good command of English; German is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
