To further expand our Offshore Wind delivery team, we are looking for a Leading Specialist for EHV/HV systems on OSS topside to join us. Working on a variety of Offshore substation projects, you’ll be responsible for the electrical and mechanical elements of our Topsides scope.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Act as the technical authority and primary interface for electrical systems within the Topsides scope, providing technical leadership and ensuring alignment across the electrical discipline.
• Lead the EHV/HV technical scope, including design basis, specifications, calculations, equipment selection and design reviews, with responsibility for transformers, GIS/AIS, reactive compensation and associated high-voltage equipment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces across HV/EHV, auxiliary electrical systems, structural, mechanical, telecom, SCADA, safety and commissioning disciplines to ensure an integrated design.
• Oversee electrical protection, control and grid-interface systems, including SCADA, metering and associated requirements, while guiding the design of earthing, lightning protection, EMC, auxiliary AC/DC systems, UPS and electrical safety solutions.
• Review and manage technical deliverables throughout the supply chain, including supplier documentation, technical deviations and design deliverables, and drive timely resolution of technical issues.
• Support clients, certification bodies and project stakeholders through technical clarifications, risk reviews and assurance activities, while contributing practical electrical engineering expertise to tendering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement across projects by promoting engineering best practices, capturing lessons learned and applying them to future project delivery.

On top of that, you’ll have:

• A degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline, combined with substantial relevant experience in HV/EHV systems, particularly within offshore substations, offshore wind, transmission or other complex infrastructure projects.
• Extensive experience with offshore wind and offshore substation projects, with a solid technical understanding of OSS Topsides electrical systems and multidisciplinary interfaces. Experience from a developer, EPC, OEM, fabrication yard or consultancy environment is an advantage.
• Strong practical expertise in electrical system design, including technical specifications, vendor documentation and multidisciplinary design reviews, with experience managing electrical engineering teams within complex international projects.
• Solid technical knowledge of transformers, GIS/AIS, protection and control, SCADA interfaces, earthing, lightning protection, EMC and auxiliary power systems.
• Knowledge of applicable international standards, offshore regulations and grid-code requirements, including IEC and DNV standards, as well as electrical safety and grid compliance principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical matters into clear decisions, actions and communication for clients, project teams, contractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international, multidisciplinary project environments.
