In 2024 HELM decided to pursue a new path of business transformation by founding the Venture Clienting unit HELM HORIZION based on our corporate strategy that targets sustainability and business growth.

At HELM Venture Clienting is a structured approach which describes working with innovative start-ups to solve concrete business challenges to gain efficiency and/or business growth. After more than two years of building the concept, we are entering a new growth stage that targets scaling the Venturing Clienting activities while including more venturing ambitions.

You understand how companies such as HELM create value, where operational pain points arise, and how to translate business needs into scalable solutions?

We are looking for a pragmatic builder and change-maker who continuously challenges and improves how we do Venture Clienting for an impact that lasts. Whether it's launching new formats, trying unconventional approaches, or scaling successful initiatives, you turn ideas into action and action into impact. This is a temporary position for a period of 18 months.

Your Responsibilities:

This role is particularly suited for candidates with strong business experience at HELM or in comparable industries who want to apply their market, process and stakeholder knowledge in a company-wide innovation role. Your tasks in detail:

Strategy & Development

• Continuously challenge, evolve, and scale HELM’s Venture Clienting approach – from strategy to execution including processes and governance.
• Aligning activities with HELM’s corporate strategic priorities
• Ecosystem & Stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with HELM internal stakeholders across all units and global regions (incl. business Units and supporting functions)
• Build and expand relationships within the venturing and innovation ecosystem
  
  
  

Execution & Delivery

• Identify emerging technologies and translate them into concrete business use cases (push approach)
• Identify business needs and their relevant stakeholders internally (pull approach)
• Manage the Venture Clienting process end-to-end, from use case definition to implementation
• Coordinate and lead pilot projects and drive scalable adoption
• Measure and communicate the financial and operational impact of implemented solutions
  
  
  

Your profile:

• Several years of relevant professional experience within HELM or in comparable industries (e.g., chemicals, agriculture, energy materials).
• Experience in product management, supply chain management, sales, business development or other business-related functions for a solid understanding of business processes and demands.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Superior self-management and self-organization (project management) skills.
• Ability to drive topics independently in a dynamic environment. Very good English skills, strong German skills are advantageous.
