IT Systems & Network Engineer – Germany | Airbus Projects - #2703523

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group), a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for IT Systems & Network Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, working directly on Airbus IT and infrastructure projects.

Locations include Hamburg region, Baviera and other sites across the country.

What You Will Do

• Administer and support Windows/Linux systems, networks and Airbus on‑prem infrastructures.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and cybersecurity controls.
• Support the implementation of Airbus and BSI/CERT security standards.
• Participate in DevOps‑related tasks (automation, deployments, CI/CD support).
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with Airbus teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and documentation for operational environments.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar
• Experience in systems and network administration
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (Airbus/BSI guidelines are a plus)
• Exposure to DevOps tools or automation
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Willingness to work in rotating schedules and occasional travel.
• C1 English mandatory.
• C1 German mandatory.
