Your Mission

This is a company built for growth.

When you join exmox, you're stepping onto a global, highly competitive playing field, solving real problems in environments that push you beyond your comfort zone. You'll work on real systems at a big scale, building high-performing consumer products used by millions. We move fast, cut the noise, and focus on what actually matters, because in our industry, speed wins.

We're rapidly scaling one of the most exciting innovations in mobile gaming: a rewarded user engagement and acquisition platform that helps publishers acquire and retain players through rewarding experiences. Our products are data-driven by design, powered by event-driven architectures, complex business logic, and quick feedback loops, with decisions informed by data and experimentation, not gut feeling.

As Senior Technical Product Manager (f/m/x), this role isn't just about shipping features, it's about building products that perform. Product at exmox means understanding the bigger technical and business picture, working closely with Engineering, including how we use AI to move faster and cut down on repetitive work, and turning strategy into precise, technically grounded product decisions that create real value. Every change you ship affects millions of users, and that responsibility is what makes working at exmox exciting.

If you're energized by fast-moving markets, complex technical systems, and the challenge of building products that perform at scale, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Own

  • Technical product strategy & vision Together with Engineering leads, you shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap with a clear understanding of technical constraints and opportunities. You define goals and success metrics, and continuously evolve product direction based on system capabilities, technical debt, and business priorities.
  • Discovery, scoping & prioritization You gather and balance inputs from engineering, user research, data, and stakeholders to deeply understand problems, including their technical complexity. You write detailed, unambiguous requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineers can act on immediately.
  • Agile ownership & delivery You own the product backlog end-to-end: grooming, refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization. You actively participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and sprint ceremonies, ensuring the team always has well-defined, ready-to-build work.
  • Technical stakeholder alignment You translate business needs into precise engineering requirements, and translate technical realities back into language stakeholders understand. You work closely with Engineering, UI/UX, Data, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment across the full product lifecycle.
  • Experimentation & continuous improvement You leverage A/B testing, analytics, and system monitoring to validate ideas, measure outcomes, and drive ongoing product and technical improvements. You understand data pipelines and instrumentation well enough to define the right metrics from the ground up.

What You Bring

  • Technical Product Manager experience Strong experience as a Technical Product Manager building digital products, ideally in mobile gaming, ad-tech, e-commerce, or online marketing. You've worked closely with engineering teams and are comfortable in technical conversations.
  • Engineering fluency You don't need to code, but you can read and discuss API contracts, system architectures, database schemas, and technical trade-offs. Engineers see you as a peer, not just a requirements writer.
  • Agile ownership You have deep hands-on experience owning a product backlog: writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, running sprint ceremonies, and continuously improving team throughput and focus.
  • Data-driven product decisions Solid experience using quantitative data, A/B testing, funnel analysis, and product analytics tools to guide decisions. You understand how data is collected, structured, and interpreted, and can define instrumentation requirements yourself.
  • High-scale product teams At least 4 years of experience working with cross-functional engineering and product teams on high-scale digital products with millions of users.
  • Discovery & problem solving Strong analytical and structured thinking skills. You can break down complex technical and product problems, identify root causes, and drive toward clear, testable solutions.
  • Ownership mindset You unblock teams, remove ambiguity, and take accountability for outcomes, not just outputs. You're persistent, solution-oriented, and comfortable making calls with incomplete information.
  • Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences Outstanding at adapting communication style: precise and detailed with engineers, strategic and impact-focused with leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Structured & organized Able to manage multiple workstreams, balance competing priorities, and deliver against realistic timelines without losing sight of the bigger picture

How We Win

  • Speed is the feature. Speed beats rocket science. We move fast, test fast, and multiply our pace with AI, because action creates information and small wins compound. A fast failure is a lesson we learn from, a slow one is a problem we can't afford.
  • Focus on the essential. Done is better than perfect. We stay focused on what actually moves us forward and protect people's time from anything that doesn't. We're direct in how we communicate too, no rambling, no unnecessary detail.
  • See it. Own it. Solve it. The first to see it is best placed to fix it. We're not a place for comfort, we're a place for doers. "Not my job" isn't in our vocabulary, if you spot something, you help make sure it gets solved.
  • Respect others. Trust multiplies. Respect is non-negotiable. We disagree with ideas, never with people. Trust here is built the same way it is anywhere, through consistency, a thank you, a moment of listening, and owning your mistakes.
  • Perks that help you focus on what matters. Transport subsidy, learning budget, wellness and gym, workation, bi-weekly team lunches, and more. The perks are great, but the real reason people join and stay is the challenge, the ownership, and the drive to win together.

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!
