Junior Software Engineer - #2681443

We are working with a fast-growing tech company that's disrupting the monetization and subscription management space. They are a European market leader in subscription management solutions, with their innovative cloud platform used in over 70 countries to help scale-ups and international corporations automate financial processes.

The Role

• Implement and maintain microservices for the payment domain using Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, and Kubernetes.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases in the backend and React, TypeScript, and Material UI in the frontend.
• Apply Clean Code principles for extendability and readability, especially for critical payment flows.
• Monitor and alert to identify technical issues before they impact customers.
• Support users and customer service with technical problems, providing quick and pragmatic solutions.
• Ensure high quality through automated testing for sustainable product development.
• Engage in platform operations within Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS clouds, collaborating with DevOps.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Initial professional experience in software development with solid Java knowledge; experience with Spring Boot is a plus.
• Interest in digital payment and financial processes with a willingness to learn new technical domains.
• Curiosity and eagerness to develop clean system architectures, including Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Ability to question existing code to create maintainable solutions and continuously improve.
• Fluency in German (min. B2) and good English communication skills.
• Openness to using modern AI tools to enhance efficiency and problem-solving.
