About The Role
Join our LCL Desk team, responsible for coordinating and managing Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipments across key European gateways. The team currently oversees approximately 1,200 shipments per month, covering sourcing and distribution activities through major seaports including Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, and Antwerp.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring shipments are allocated efficiently to transport providers, delivered on time, and managed in line with customer and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
You will become part of a close-knit team of four logistics professionals working together to manage high shipment volumes and deliver reliable transport solutions across Europe. Due to the high level of coordination required within the team, the role is based full-time in our Hamburg office.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor LCL shipments across Germany and Europe.
- Assign shipments to transportation providers based on service requirements, transit times, and operational capacity.
- Track shipment progress and ensure timely collection and delivery.
- Proactively manage exceptions, delays, and operational challenges.
- Collaborate closely with transport providers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved in the transportation process.
- Support continuous operational efficiency within the LCL Desk function.
- Several years of experience in road transportation, dispatching, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Good understanding of truck transportation and transport planning processes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with an open and collaborative approach.
- English and German language skills enabling communication with international stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.
