A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), a leading provider of intelligent and automated cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our India market. The Regional Sales Manager is critical to the ongoing success of A10’s leading network control, security, and cloud solutions. The main focus will be in growing revenues and will have responsibility for developing new large Enterprise business (Fortune 100) and working with large existing global customers to improve their businesses. This includes owning and coordinating all aspects of the sales cycle, as well as maintaining and expanding the customer base within the assigned territory.

A senior systems engineer will have the following core responsibilities:

• Work closely with commercial sales team members to meet quarterly revenue goals
• Technically qualify sales opportunities
• Provide technical support to the sales organization, both pre- and post-sale
• Drive preference for A10’s solutions with both end-user and channel partners
• Deliver compelling Proof of Concept (PoC) and solution demonstrations to key prospects
• Deliver high quality technical training to channel partners and customers as and when needed
• As and when required, provide analysis and input on feature requests required by customers and help qualify the value, timescales and win probability of having such features in the product
• Maintain high levels of training on current product features and the competitive products and solutions
• Assist post sales/TAC in diagnosing and mitigating issues with key customers as and when required
  
  

Additionally, An SSE Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff
• Act as design authority on projects if required
• Provide high quality accurate status reporting to senior management
• Present A10 solutions to business leaders and technical audiences
• Assist writing application notes and technical documents
• Communicate market trends and requirements
• Assist in interview processes for new candidates if required
• Act professionally at all times and in accordance with A10 policies and procedures
  
  

Technical Skills

• Must have in-depth knowledge in at least two areas of specialisation in Application Delivery Controllers, NextGen firewalls, Virtualization and Orchestration, Network Security
• Must have prior knowledge of Layer-4-7 protocols and technologies such as HTTP, DNS, SSL, Caching, and Compression
• In-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in at least one of the following areas: Enterprise Applications, DevOps tools, routing and switching
• Must be comfortable with traffic generation tools from Ixia, Spirent or others
• Programming skills in a modern scripting language is highly desired
• Prior experience with a virtualized environment and hypervisors is a plus
