Your mission

• Daily operations support. You assist the Community Management team with day-to-day activities, keeping workflows running smoothly across the department.
• File & records management. You maintain and organize files, records, and filing systems to ensure information is always accurate and accessible.
• Document creation. You create and digitize documents, including contracts for external staff.
• Information sharing facilitation. You set up and coordinate the publishing of department infomails.
• Correspondence handling. You process e-mails, letters, and other correspondence in both German and English with professionalism and accuracy.
• Project ownership. You take responsibility for two bigger projects per year — including the Community Management Meeting in Hamburg and the annual gift initiative for external staff.
• Team & event coordination. You manage appointments, deadlines, and support the organization of team events, keeping the team connected and engaged.
• Basic video production. You plan, shoot and perform simple editing for internal occasions such as anniversaries or small events, including creating short clips suitable for either internal or external use.
  
  

Your skill set

• Student status. You are currently enrolled at a German college or university with at least 2 semesters remaining.
• Local presence. You are based in Hamburg or the surrounding area, enabling you to be on-site when needed to support team events, and project-related tasks such as the Community Management Meeting.
• Availability. You are available for 20 hours per week (flexible) and can adapt during peak months (May/June and November).
• Language skills. You are fluent in both English and German (min. B2/C1 level), written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
• Organizational talent. You work in a structured, efficient, and focused way and bring strong organizational and project management skills to the table.
• Reliability & diligence. Thoroughness, discretion, and a self-organized working style are among your key strengths.
• Tech proficiency. You are confident using MS Office tools; experience with Photoshop or InDesign is a plus.
• AI basics. You have basic experience working with AI tools and are curious about how they can support community-related tasks and workflows.
