About the Role
The Commercial Manager in the Onshore Wind and BESS sector is responsible for all commercial topics and supports contractual and strategic activities across the whole lifecycle of onshore Wind and BESS projects. This includes tendering, contract negotiation, budget alignment, stakeholder management, and commercial risk oversight for CAPEX and OPEX phases.
Responsibilities
- Create value for our emerging Onshore Wind and BESS business by being part of an expert team driving attractive offerings for our clients
- Create commercial part for and review tender documentation, define pre-award commercial requirements.
- Support and align pricing structures, align with business strategy requirements, write commercial summaries, and create input for bid documentation.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment with defined business targets and margin requirements.
- Develop, maintain and track Conditions of Contract.
- Coordinate commercial topics with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Identify commercial risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Participate in events, fairs and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Industrial, or similar)
- Experience in renewable energy markets and commercial project development of minimum 5 years
- Solid understanding of renewable energy technologies and project life cycles
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); project tools are a plus
- Very good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
