About the Role
As Client Relationship Manager - Maritime Portfolio, you will join a specialised Shipping division and play a key role in a tier-1 private bank in managing and developing corporate client relationships within the maritime sector.
You will also contribute to business growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration in an international banking environment.
Client Management & Business Development
- Managing and strategically developing a demanding portfolio of corporate clients within the maritime industry
- Driving revenue growth through acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing relationships
- Acting as a trusted advisor and representative in an international business environment
- Ensuring smooth, compliant execution of day-to-day banking activities, including cash management, working capital financing, guarantee business, and interest rate and FX solutions
- Coordinating and executing client onboarding processes, including account opening and KYC checks
- Maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency across all client interactions
- Collaborating across teams to support the development of the maritime business offering
- Contributing to process optimisation and enhancement of product solutions
- Supporting innovation initiatives to strengthen market positioning and client experience
You are a strong match if you bring:
- Completed banking apprenticeship and/or degree in economics or a related field
- Relevant experience in corporate client services or commercial banking, ideally within the shipping or maritime sector
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products and relationship management
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with international stakeholders
- Fluency in German and English
