SLA Data Center Engineer

We are seeking skilled Data Centre Field Engineer to provide essential on-site support and maintenance services in Hamburg Data Centers. You will provide on-demand technical support for data centre operations under a flexible Service Level Agreement.

This is an SLA contract, ensuring a minimum of 10 hours of paid service per month at €440. This role guarantees a minimum of 10 paid hours per month, with opportunities for additional compensation. Travel expenses are reimbursed at €38 per site visit.

This role will suit a freelancer or contractor looking for additional flexibility and earnings.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Tape Management: Replace and manage media tapes for routine maintenance and data backups.
• Remote Hands Support: Provide on-site assistance to data centre engineers working remotely, executing tasks as directed.
• Break Fix & Cable Replacement: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, perform break-fix repairs, and replace faulty cables.
• Server Monitoring: Conduct server performance checks, visual inspections, and ensure equipment integrity.
• Service Ticket Management: Respond promptly to service tickets issued via our platform.
• On-Site Availability: Be prepared to arrive on-site within 2–3 hours of accepting a ticket to address issues efficiently.
