In the Otto Group Holding's Corporate Responsibility department, we, as a specialist department under the CEO, promote value-oriented and responsible action throughout the Otto Group. As the ESG Data Architecture product team, we are responsible for establishing and further developing a future-proof data, process, and system landscape for the Otto Group's sustainability management. We enable Group companies to integrate sustainability aspects into their core processes and ensure the collection of primary data from internal and external sources. We consolidate sustainability information for the Otto Group and create meaningful reports and analyses. We shape data governance in an ESG context, improve data quality, and optimize all processes related to data architecture.

• You will support the Otto Group's sustainability team in operating and further developing the supply chain database, in which we consolidate suppliers, factories, and audits for the Group's companies.
• You are responsible for retrieving and importing data, analyzing the data, evaluating data quality, and coordinating necessary data cleansing.
• You prepare relevant information and key figures in dashboards and help to make important connections transparent.
• You communicate data requirements to our group companies, process inquiries from the group and independently lead them to a clarification/solution.
• You will work with us to further develop processes and tools, develop automation concepts and implement them with our support.

Must-have:

• You are enrolled as a student in a technical or business administration course
• You can support us as soon as possible for at least 1 year with 15-18 hours per week.
• You have a high affinity for IT topics and are very proficient in MS Excel
• You have a high willingness to learn and can acquire new knowledge independently.
• Good self-organization, independent work and high quality standards are among your strengths.
• You have very good analytical skills and do not shy away from complex challenges.
• Your language level: German and English B2 (independent language use).

Nice to have:

• You have experience in sustainability or in purchasing/supply chain management
• You have knowledge of database applications (SQL, table/query design, etc.) and data flow automation (Power Query, Power BI, etc.)
• You have programming experience in Python and experience in data automation with Pandas, NumPy, Requests, Beautiful Soup, etc.
