What You Will Do
- Hands-on Product Development: As our go-to full-stack Bubble developer, you’ll build features, MVPs, and refine user-facing components – from custom logic to intuitive UI/UX. While full-stack versatility is key now, specialization (e.g. frontend or backend) is possible as the team grows.
- Technical Ownership & Team Leadership: Reporting to our co-founder Christian (Product & Tech Lead), you’ll gradually take ownership of our tech domain – including architecture, workflows, and AI capabilities. You’ll lead hiring, mentor junior devs, and define scalable standards.
- Scalable Architecture & Tech Evolution: You’ll maintain a reliable, scalable foundation. Our stack includes Bubble.io, Cloudflare Workers, and AI integrations – with room to introduce traditional codebases as needed.
- AI-first Development & Automation: You’ll prototype and implement AI-powered solutions, especially LLM-based, to automate processes and enhance product intelligence – shaping an AI-first mindset across platform and tooling.
- Performance, UX & Quality: You balance technical rigor with design sensibility, turning complex logic into polished, user-friendly interfaces. You care about speed, responsiveness, and usability – even without a dedicated designer.
- Advanced Bubble.io expertise: At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a professional Bubble.io developer with high proficiency. Proven capability in advanced data modeling and performance optimization. Having a Bubble Developer Certification is a plus.
- Adaptability to a growing tech stack: Strong interest in working within an evolving technical environment. Comfortable exploring and integrating traditional codebases (e.g., Cloudflare Workers, Supabase) alongside no-code tools. Willingness to go deep into code when needed, with a mindset oriented toward scalability and modularity.
- Leadership potential: Demonstrated interest – or first experience – in hiring, mentoring, and leading a development team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Data privacy & domain awareness: Experience handling sensitive data and working within regulated environments. A solid understanding of data privacy principles, particularly GDPR compliance, is essential in this role, given the healthcare context.
- Time zone compatibility: You are based in Germany or within a ±3 hours time zone difference from Berlin time, ensuring overlap with core team working hours. Travelling to our quarterly team meetings should also be no problem for you.
- Language skills: Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required. German language skills are a strong plus for collaboration with internal stakeholders and if needed, external communication with clinical partners in the DACH region.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus: Experience in the healthcare or life sciences sector is an advantage, particularly in working with clinics, clinical research data, or medical workflows.
- Meaningful impact: We're not building another incremental feature – we’re addressing real structural problems in healthcare. Your work directly supports improved access to better clinical research and enhanced patient care.
- Fair compensation & VSOP: We believe in fair pay, which is why we openly discuss salary expectations from the first conversation. In addition, we offer mobility and lunch allowances, non-cash benefits, and participation in our growth through a VSOP (please note: some of these benefits only apply when you are based in Germany).
- Growth & development: We actively support your professional and personal development through challenging projects, regular feedback, and a high level of autonomy.
- Flexibility: Work remotely (with quarterly in-person team meetings) or from our base in Hamburg – whichever fits your life best. We also offer flexible working hours.
- Room to shape: Bring your ideas to life and actively contribute to shaping how Reesi grows as a product, an organization, and a team. You'll have a voice in technical, strategic, and operational decisions.
- A dynamic environment: Join a motivated, interdisciplinary team with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making. We cultivate an open communication culture, value honest feedback, and work together with respect and trust.
- Introductory call (20–50 minutes) with Charlotte or Julia from Julia Reis Consulting
- Practical task (approx. 90 minutes) to be completed at a time of your choosing
- Second interview with technical focus (45–60 minutes) with Reesi Co-Founder Christian
- Final interview with focus on culture & team fit (45–60 minutes) with Reesi Co-Founders Christian and Christoph
