Ready to build your expertise in a cutting-edge laboratory environment? We're seeking a dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician for a 2-year fixed-term role. Principle Accountabilities

  • Independent and timely preparation of samples for various chemical analyses.
  • Execution of accurate and reliable chemical analyses on tobacco products, Next Generation Products, and their manufacturing materials.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with specified testing regulations (SOPs), including both standard and in-house procedures.
  • Operating and routinely calibrating a range of analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, IC, GC, ICP).
  • Performing preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Meticulously documenting all test procedures and results in accordance with the quality management system (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025) and internal processes.


Skills and Experience Required

  • Completed vocational training (e.g., Chemielaborant/CTA, PTA, BTA) or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical/Biological Sciences, or a related field.
  • Good foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry, particularly in the principles of HPLC, GC, IC, or ICP.
  • Familiarity with the analysis of environmental, food, feed, or pharmaceutical products (chemical & physical).
  • Understanding of working within a quality management system (preferably ISO 17025), along with proficiency in MS-Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German, demonstrating strong teamwork, resilience, and flexibility.
  • A proactive "hands-on" mentality, coupled with an independent and conscientious work ethic.
