RWE Global Offshore Wind Engineering functions as an international cornerstone - cultivating innovation, offering solutions, and generating value in our offshore wind endeavors.
Within this framework, the Instrumentation & Control Team operates as a central function within the Offshore Wind Engineering Department. We focus on key components of complex offshore wind farm infrastructure and architecture, including Operations Technology (OT), OT Security, Network Infrastructure, Communication Systems, Control Rooms, and other Industrial Control System (ICS) topics.

About The Role
- Champion the growth, standardization, and execution of internal methodologies and project strategies for both operational sites and those in development
- Provide validated, high-quality information, especially on technical KPIs and documentation, to support informed decision-making by internal stakeholders
- Gather and apply lessons learned and site-specific insights through close collaboration with offshore wind farms in Central Europe and the UK, contributing to continuous improvement across the wider RWE fleet
- A background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Effective conceptual and analytical thinking skills; initial experience in project management
- Familiarity with the renewable energy sector is beneficial
- A focused team member who willingly engages with others and is prepared to handle tasks solo as circumstances dictate
- Goal-oriented, with a structured and solution-focused approach to delivering new projects and ideas
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly in English and German
- Advanced IT proficiency, particularly with MS Office software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio)
