Your locationYou will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Your tasks and responsibilitiesPhysical testing is an important part of the aircraft development and certification. At structures test we ascertain the mechanical suitability of the airframe structure, by subjecting aircraft parts to representative loads and measuring the reaction. You will be supporting the setup of those tests, performing test campaigns and document test results. Besides getting an insight in the airframe development process, you will also have the opportunity to work on very recent aircraft projects.

Desired skills and qualifications Enrolled full-time student in the area of aerospace engineering or an equivalent field of study. First practical experience in the field of testing is desirable. Fluent in English, basic German.
