Your tasks
In this role, you will support our Hotel Operations team for the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet in a variety of operational, organizational and coordinative tasks – both in the direct interface to our ships and in the back office
Your tasks at a glance:
Supporting the Hotel Operations team for the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises (HLC) ships in monitoring and coordinating workflows on board
Participation in projects of the department
Assuming general assistance tasks and proactive process optimization
Evaluating and analyzing crew, passenger and ship’s questionnaires to identify improvement measures
Organizing, preparing, recording and following up on meetings
Monitoring and coordination of post-production in the area of printed materials and amenities
Travel management for corporates and external consultants, including ordering visas and coordinating cabin and flight requests
Organization and coordination of on-board training
Support in the creation of procedural instructions
Updating and quality assurance of procedural instructions and hotel management manuals in ship- and landside systems as well as introduction and support of new digital applications
Preparation of expense reports for the Hotel Operations Team
The job holder is bound by instructions to the Hotel Operations Team HLC
Relevant professional experience, ideally in the hotel industry and/or on board cruise ships
Confident handling of budgets and understanding of economic targets; strong cost and quality awareness
Strong teamwork and communication skills
High service orientation
Organizational talent, flexibility and independent working style
Ability to work under pressure, reliability and integrity
Confident handling of MS Office; ideally additional experience with POS and merchandise management systems
Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
Good general education and good interpersonal skills
