Join the Adobe Cloud Platform (ACP) team and help shape the future of creative collaboration. ACP powers cloud-first workflows for flagship products like Firefly, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Express. Our platform spans multiple AWS regions and is built on hundreds of microservices, enabling seamless collaboration and storage for millions of users.

This is a hybrid position with regular on-site presence required, offering the best of both in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, test, and operate microservices that are central to Adobe’s cloud platform.
• Develop secure, scalable, and resilient solutions used by millions of users.
• Continuously improve our architecture and development practices.
• Collaborate with teams across Hamburg, the US, and India.
• Work closely with internal product teams who use our APIs to build Adobe’s flagship applications.
• Contribute to a culture of learning, quality, and shared ownership.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Solid programming skills (we mostly use Java, but we value great engineers over specific languages).
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
• Interest in automation, data engineering, or AI-assisted development.
  
  

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Spring, RESTful APIs, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
  
  

How We Work

• We work in agile, self-organized, cross-functional engineering teams, with daily syncs, regular planning, grooming and retrospectives
• 2-3 on-site team days in the Hamburg office.
