We’re looking for an Accounts Officer (m/f/d) Vessel Accounting

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparation of reports and financial analysis including the (monthly) reporting to Clients
  
• Compiling of monthly, quarterly and annual Statements of Accounts in accordance with HGB regulations and local requirements
  
• Booking of all relevant transactions for your assigned vessels in accordance with the individual contracts
  
• Effecting payments including performing of liquidity checks and requesting of additional funds
  
• Reconciliation of business accounts, clarifying differences and coordination with the internal ordering departments
  
• Calculation and booking of accruals, deferrals, depreciation and valuation of balance sheet items
  
  
  
  

• A commercial degree (i.e. Bachelor, Bachelor professional, German apprenticeship)
  
• ideally first experience in Accounting and Finance
  
• basic knowledge of German Finance legislation
  
• strong communicator with a passion for numbers and processes
  
• innovative thinking and service mentality
  
• fluent in German, advanced knowledge in English
