• Duration: 6 months

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will analyze the performance of default NFD vs. NDN + MANET routing protocol across all scenarios in a detailed report

• Scripts and configurations to reproduce the experiments using MiniNDN
• You provide a well-documented codebase and setup guide
• Presentation and defense of results in a final seminar is planned
  
  

Desired Skills And Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time master student in the area of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or an equivalent field of study
• A final thesis is planned as an outcome of the internship
• Strong background in computer networks (e.g. MANETs, FANETs) and ICN concepts,
• Comfortable with Linux-based environments and oop, especially Python / C++
• Proficiency in Mininet-WiFi and MiniNDN frameworks nice to have
• A keen interest in simulations, network mobility, and performance evaluation
• Fluent in English is a must and in German is plus
