As a Founder’s Associate you’ll partner directly with our founding team, turning bold ideas into tangible impact across finance, operations, partnerships and growth. You’ll help steer a mission-driven, venture-backed company that’s setting new benchmarks for sustainable protein—while gaining a panoramic view of what it takes to build an industry-shaping biotech start-up from the inside out. Tasks
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate directly with the founding team to identify, prioritize, and execute key business objectives and strategic projects.
- Support finance— In direct cooperation with our C-Level, you will support us in preparing the next fundraising round - from the pitch to the finalization of contracts
- You will provide conceptual support in the further development of the controlling and management system.
- Lead projects in the areas of operational expansions such as location scouting or development of a supplier network
- Continuously enhance internal workflows to boost efficiency and implement systems that support consistent productivity and collaboration.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- First relevant working experience in a fast-growing startup, consultancy or finance department
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, reliability, and a structured working style enable you to keep multiple projects on track, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and deliver outstanding results on time.
- You enjoy working with data and have strong skills in PowerPoint & Excel
- You live in Hamburg or the surrounding area or are ready to move to Hamburg
- Independent, hands-on way of working
- Enthusiasm for sustainability, innovation, and passion to contribute to positive impacts on global food systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
