Location You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Providing relevant spares data (spares-part numbers, information about interchangeability, material information such as shelf-life information, etc.) to internal and external customer queries
  • Delivering sustainable data quality
  • Participation in the verification process, the security initiative, and routines to ensure 100% data compliance for our customers
  • Contact person for technical data in the area of responsibility. Processing and safety assessment of customer inquiries
  • Point of contact of a dedicated set of ATA-chapters and you will be the voice to our customer.
  • Interface to the responsible design office organization with regard to the assigned ATA chapters
  • Managing spare data, including monitoring and verifying subcontractors, while also providing support and contributing to transnational projects
  • Completion of requested tasks within the predefined time frame under respect of the data compliance policy as well as export control requirements
  • Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required Qualifications

The work task requires knowledge and skills, as can usually be achieved through a relevant, completed course of study with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways

Desired Skills And Competences

  • Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
  • Working experience as an Technical Data Engineer or a similar role
  • Experience in managing technical documentation in the frame of complex context
  • Profound knowledge in SAP (PCS) MADAME, Zamiz/Airina, Taksy, APS and G-Suite is a plus
  • You are driven by a 100% safety and compliance mindset
  • Analytical thinking and structured level of working
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work sometimes under time pressure to satisfy our customers
  • Working in an international and multicultural environment is inspiring for you

  • Language skills: English and German fluent (at least language level B2)
