(Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Your position in our crew

As part of the current expansion of the Business Analytics team, we have a vacancy for the position of (Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d). To support the group of companies in this transformation phase, the aim is to establish business analytics and intelligence as complementary value drivers in all key business decisions.

• In your new role as (Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of ETL processes for the integration and processing of data from various sources.
• You will drive forward the implementation and further development of data warehouse architectures based on Snowflake and Data Vault Builder
• You will ensure high data quality and availability.
• You will continuously develop and optimize the business analytics infrastructure, taking into account data analytics departmental goals as well as standardization and automation aspects.
• You actively work closely with the specialist departments to identify data requirements and optimization potential.
  
  

What you have in your luggage

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, engineering or a comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge in the creation and optimization of ETL processes
• Sound experience in working with Data Vault Builder, Snowflake and Qlik Sense
• Extensive experience in programming with SQL and Python
• Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluency in German and English and strong communication skills
• High motivation, independence, quick comprehension, organizational agility and sense of responsibility
