Join our Artificial Intelligence for Systems team (ARTIST) , and bring your expertise and leadership to create clear added-value across Systems Engineering (1Y) & beyond for:

• Ground Services & Sustainability : from predictive maintenance to optimized airline operations and more

• Aircraft Embedded AI Functions : to pioneer new Machine Learning based functions such as Vision-based Navigation or Pilot State Monitoring, and unlock the associated scientific and regulatory challenges

• Ways of Working Improvement : to enhance operational efficiency of our engineers, leveraging new advances like Generative AI to simplify & improve their daily life & allowing them to focus on their own added-value

More globally, this team is part of the Data-Driven Services & Aircraft Maintenance Community gathered in several Engineering Centres in Europe and India. Its mission is to drive Artificial Intelligence, Aircraft Maintenance & Certification to:
• Boost Aircraft Availability & Ease Maintenance Operations
• Promote Innovation & Services
• Maximize the Value of Data & Ensure Data Availability

Within this community, you will join the Data Management & Analytics team (1YASX), as part of a young and dynamic team of Data Scientists & AI specialists with start-up spirit, spread across Toulouse & Hamburg.

As part of our AI activities, you will:

- Design creative solutions from analytics to advanced AI, for services, aircraft products and ways of working with a first assignment and focus (at least one year) concerning Services through the Zero AOG Plateau, providing Predictive Maintenance capabilities for our customers.

• Gain insight and develop knowledge on how our aircraft are operated within airlines, as well as global understanding of systems in the context of maintenance.

- Develop innovative data-driven solutions and services together with the engineers with a focus on value creation and business needs
- Ensure communication, follow-up and alignment with internal and external stakeholders, incl. Programs, R&T, Engineering, Customer Service, IT, Suppliers and Subcontracting
- Contribute to the vision and strategy around AI based solutions and improvements for Aircraft Systems, Services and Ways of Working
- Coach and foster stakeholders, students around AI applications, data-driven mindset and agile ways of working
- Join, promote and share actively in the Airbus Analytics & AI community

Your Boarding Pass:
- A Master degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent

- You like to think big and impact global, you are willing to influence and lead, and you are not only focused on pure technical development

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in development of solutions based on Advanced Statistics, Machine Learning & Deep Learning methods

- Expertise of algorithms & tools linked to supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning

- You evolve very easily within development environments & programming languages like Python, Pyspark, Linux Shell Scripting and NoSQL databases.

- Negotiation level in English, knowledge of German or French would be a plus
- You are recognized as a team player with excellent communication skills and you are customer centric
- Continuous learning is your lifestyle, and you like to collaborate with a high diversity of people.

- Experience in industrialization and implementation of solutions in a production environment would be a plus
