In Hamburg, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to complete our team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test systems and components.
• Develop test, manufacturing, and service procedures for designed components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Work on projects with R&D, manufacturing, and service teams where electrical engineering knowledge is required.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary environment, learning and applying skills in different fields, such as optics and microfluidics.
• Manage documentation in a structured manner according to internal quality standards.
• Improve the design and manufacturability of Bruker Biosensors products.
• Identify and improve components affecting key performance parameters, such as noise and thermal stability.
• Handle and manage the obsolescence of electronic parts.
• Design and improve system electronic architecture with consideration of EMC and electrical safety standards (61010-1, NRTL).

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
• Experience in the design of digital, analog, and RF circuits.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer or other ECAD software.
• Experience with electronic simulation software, such as LTSpice.
• Programming skills in VHDL, Python, C#, and C++.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documentation.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methods.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
