The Role

As our ASO Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of ASO for our mobile application. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the visibility, ranking, and overall success of our apps in the App Store and Google Play Store. You’ll work closely with the product, marketing, and creative teams to implement ASO strategies that improve app discoverability, user acquisition, and retention. This role will be part of a dedicated App Marketing team of two people, offering the opportunity to take ownership while collaborating closely on strategy and execution.

Your Tasks

• Develop and lead the end-to-end ASO (App Store Optimization) strategy, including keyword research, metadata optimization, A/B testing, and continuous experimentation.
• Monitor app performance and visibility using ASO tools, and analyze data to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Generate proactive, data-driven insights and provide clear, actionable recommendations to enhance app store performance and user experience
• Collaborate with designers to create and optimize compelling visual assets and descriptions that drive visibility, downloads, and in-app conversions.
• Partner closely with product and marketing teams to align ASO efforts with broader growth and user acquisition goals.
• Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and stay informed on the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in the ASO and mobile growth space.
  
  

What You Offer Us

• 3+ years of proven experience in ASO, mobile marketing, or a related field, with a strong grasp of app store algorithms and keyword optimization.
• Proficient in ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower or Mobile Action, with additional experience in paid user acquisition (UA) strategies, including Google Ads and Apple Search Ads.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with experience in A/B testing and performance tracking.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable working with product, design, and marketing teams.
• Creative mindset with an eye for optimizing app store visuals and ad creatives.
• Fluent in German and English, with a strong interest in mobile apps and industry trends.
