Validation Engineer (m/f/d) Loads and Vibration - #2110081

Become part of a dynamic team that deals with the validation of wind turbines. In Global Engineering, you will be responsible for measuring loads on wind turbines in the Test & Prototype department.

Your Tasks

• Planning and conducting load measurements as part of certification processes for wind turbines and their components (e.g., gearboxes, rotor blades)
• Installing measurement equipment and sensors on wind turbines, such as strain, acceleration, and torque sensors
• Analyzing and documenting measurement results, collaborating with specialist departments to compare simulation data
• Contributing to the development and optimization of plants, systems, and operating modes in cooperation with system departments
• Managing projects within your area of responsibility, including providing support to international partners and measurement service providers
• Enhancing programming tools and evaluation sequences used in data analysis
• Coordinating with technical services and operators to implement individual system validations
  
  

Your Profile

• Completed studies in engineering or comparable qualifications with additional certification
• Relevant experience in load evaluation
• Experience in applying specific standards (e.g., IEC 61400-12-1, IEC 61400-13, ISO 18436-2) is desirable
• Experience with loads and vibration in drive trains is desirable
• Strong data analysis skills (e.g., using imc Famos, Python, Matlab, Excel)
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Ability to work at heights, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel for short periods (including occasional international travel)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, complemented by intercultural competence
