About The Role
We are seeking a Regional People Manager for our Energy Systems Business Area in the Northern Europe region. This region includes approximately 1150 employees across 7 countries and 21 locations and has a turnover of approximately Euro 230 million annually. As a member of the Regional Leadership Team (RLT), you will report directly to the Regional Director, contributing to the fulfilment of our business requirements, goals, and KPIs.

About The Role
We are seeking a Regional People Manager for our Energy Systems Business Area in the Northern Europe region. This region includes approximately 1150 employees across 7 countries and 21 locations and has a turnover of approximately Euro 230 million annually. As a member of the Regional Leadership Team (RLT), you will report directly to the Regional Director, contributing to the fulfilment of our business requirements, goals, and KPIs.
- In your capacity as the Regional People Manager, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and maintaining DNV’s culture and business objectives by delivering efficient and consistent HR services.
- Your primary responsibilities will include guiding the people management strategy, supervising the Regional People Team (4 Service Area People Managers, 2 Sourcers and 1 HR Advisor Projects, Analytics & Reporting), and managing its procedures and processes.
- You will also provide advice and support to the RLT on people, leadership and organisational development matters.
- Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and executing the People strategy by aligning strategic initiatives at the regional level with people plans, growth, and profitability set by Energy Systems and Group.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- You will be a key sparring partner to the Regional Director and a valued member of the Regional Leadership Team, contributing to organisational development and change management, operational excellence, leadership development, and cultural initiatives that promote inclusion and engagement.
- You will develop HR initiatives that will enable the region to achieve its overall business objectives.
- One of the key challenges will be attracting and retaining highly skilled technical talent. In parallel, you will focused on developing and upskilling the existing workforce. These dynamics require a forward-looking HR approach, strong workforce planning, and compelling employer branding capabilities.
- You will oversee all People-related KPIs (including People Engagement, Retention, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Upskilling & Future Fit, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, and Training) and promote the use of analytics to enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Shared Services (GSS) organisation to ensure all HR processes run smoothly, and also to ensure all relevant topics are discussed with the appropriate employee consultation bodies (Unions, Works Councils).
- Participate in Merger & Acquisition/due diligence processes and integration activities.

About You
- Relevant HR Experience: You bring at least 15 years of experience, ideally gained in an international consulting or professional services environment.
- Stakeholder Relationship & Leadership Support: A proven track record in building stakeholder relationships, evidence of effectively challenging, coaching and influencing leaders, including successfully facilitating organisational development and change management initiatives are essential.
- Strategic & Hands-On Approach: Due to the nature of our business, you should bring both strategic vision and hands-on experience. With operation spread across 21 locations in 7 countries, you can expect to travel approximately 25% of the time to maintain strong working relationship with managers, colleagues and other stakeholders across the region.
- Self-Driven & Commercially Astute: You will be a strong fit if you are self-driven, forward-thinking, dynamic, and commercially astute, ensuring the region achieves its ambitious plans.
