As an Account Manager you are responsible for generating turnover through relationship management, recruiting new customers and recommending (new) products. You plan and develop opportunities for the market and realize upsell and cross-sell. You sell solutions to partners and products to end customers.

As a specialist in value-add distribution, management and maintenance of software and hardware license contracts, we work for more than 3,000 large and medium-sized organizations throughout the Benelux.

Responsibility

  • You manage a portfolio of clients. This concerns a percentage of assigned customers and a percentage of new customers to be found. You make a strategic account plan for these accounts that shows how you will achieve the set targets.
  • Identification of market potential and eligible accounts.
  • You actively set up actions that facilitate upsell and cross-sell with your existing customers.
  • Discover opportunities to develop existing customers, win back dormant customers or build relationships with prospects.
  • You develop a trusted advisory relationship with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • You are the first point of contact for your customers, you can then refer them to the right colleague within the organization.
  • You inform the inside sales colleagues specifically about the expectations you have for your customers, and about the agreements you made with your customers.
  • You participate in a few online training courses on a monthly basis to increase your current knowledge of cybersecurity products.
  • Every member of the sales team. You work for your own targets, but you also realize that as a good team member you can help colleagues with their targets. It actively invests in reciprocity.
  • You deliver a forecast twice a week to the sales manager, to whom you report directly.
  • You attend events to broaden and maintain your network in the security partner landscape.

Expected skillset

  • You have a structural approach for relationship management.
  • You know how to deal with the different types of customers and their respective functions in a human way (director, inside sales, sales rep, purchasing manager).
  • A bachelor’s degree in economics is recommended.
  • You have experience in IT, preferably in cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of the Fortinet portfolio is an absolute asset.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English. You are not afraid to speak some words in French.
  • You live in Belgium.
  • You are willing to travel to Sint Katelijne Waver or Zaventem 1 to 3 times a week.
  • We are open to juniors with a sales mindset, drive, and energy.
  • You have a driver’s license B.
