Join our innovative team where you will play a pivotal role in setting up, maintaining, and enhancing statistical software packages and user-facing applications in R. Imagine collaborating with users to discuss implementation ideas that simplify our software landscape while focusing on the reliability and maintenance of large wind turbine components. You will have the opportunity to dive into technical software engineering, statistical methods, or component-specific model development, all while enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions that enhance turbine reliability. Your contributions will directly impact our company’s financial performance, and with our transparent feedback culture, you will quickly gain expertise in software engineering, statistics, and wind turbine technology.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will co-develop applications that support internal stakeholders in making critical technical and business decisions.
• Your improvements to the software landscape and statistical tools will benefit the entire development team, facilitating future enhancements and innovations.
• You will engage with users to gather feedback and implement changes that simplify and optimize our software and app offerings.

What You Bring

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• You have hands-on experience in software development (version control, testing, and documentation) or you possess a solid understanding of statistics and machine learning,
• Ideally you have knowledge of quantitative regression and survival analysis.
• You excel at translating stakeholder requirements into technical implementations, with a focus on clean, collaborative coding practices.
• You are passionate about leveraging data to drive advancements in the renewable energy sector.
