Ihre Aufgaben

Implico is a leading provider of SAP solutions for the digitalization of business processes in the liquid logistics. The Services for the Implico IT are outsourced to a 3 rd party device provider. Implico plans to offer Saas solutions for certain products. The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems and services. This role involves managing IT operations, data centers, cloud environments, and service management processes.

Key Tasks:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT with future Implico needs
• Plan and oversee IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Oversee IT service management processes such as incident management, problem resolution, major incidents and coordinate between Implico and the service provider
• Ensure IT infrastructure complies with industry standards and security best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Ensure the Implico and Service partners vendor comply with cybersecurity policies and industry regulations like ISMS
• Mange IT risk assessments and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place
• Establish performance metrics and KPIs and monitor the service provider’s performance, conduct regular performance reviews to ensure the agreed service levels are met
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and partners to ensure effective delivery of services
• Act as the main point of contact between the business and the IT vendor, address recurring issues and suggest improvements to the service provider
• Explore and implement improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements, manage changes and renewals with technology providers based on Implico needs
• Critically assess the IT architecture and solutions provided by the managed service provider (MSP), ensuring they align with business needs, security, and scalability requirements. Proactively challenge suboptimal designs and drive improvements by leveraging in-depth IT expertise to propose and lead enhancements.
  
  

Ihr Profil

• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in IT infrastructure management, including networking, cloud computing, and virtualization
• Knowledge of system integrations, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and service delivery best practices
• Experience with cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in monitoring and automation tools for IT operations
• Experience in budgeting and cost control
• Ability to evaluate IT solutions for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong Leadership and Team management abilities
• Very good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to translate IT concepts into business language for non-technical teams
• Ability to handling disputes with vendors and ensuring smooth collaboration

• Qualifications:
• You have successfully completed a degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics or comparable professional training in similar IT related field
