Manager (m/f/d) Occupational Health & Safety - #2084334

• You will support the senior occupational safety specialist in actively shaping occupational safety at all Hapag-Lloyd AG company sites in Germany, with a focus on occupational safety (e.g. compliance with laws, regulations and Group specifications, preparation of risk assessments, accident investigations, etc.)
• In order to improve the corporate safety culture and meet the relevant health & safety requirements, you will advise the management and executives on all issues relating to safe and healthy work and actively optimise processes
• In addition to advising and supporting managers in the preparation and documentation of risk assessments and operating instructions, you will also be responsible for reporting accidents and investigating them (determining the causes)
• You will develop suitable measures to prevent hazards and carry out training courses, instructions, site inspections and health & safety audits
• You will be actively involved in the further development of the occupational health and safety management system and ideally already have knowledge of the ‘Quentic’ occupational health and safety management software
• You coordinate the activities of the company officers (first aiders, safety officers and fire protection officers) as well as the preparation and follow-up of ASA meetings Co-operation with internal and external bodies (works council, employers' liability insurance association, authorities, company doctor) is also part of your day-to-day work
• You will also take on tasks in company health management (such as Organisation, implementation and support of cooperation partnerships, participation in the further development of occupational health management), working closely with the Social & Health department

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed training as an occupational safety specialist
• You have at least two years of practical experience in the relevant field
• You are characterised by an independent, structured and service-oriented way of working and a high degree of initiative
• You are a team player and an organisational talent with a holistic and sustainable way of thinking
• You have strong social skills and communication skills
• Goal- and solution-oriented way of working and hands-on mentality
• High degree of discretion and reliability
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, Knowledge of the ‘Quentic’ occupational health and safety management software desirable
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills round off your profile
• Additional qualifications (fire protection, health protection, management systems) are available or there is a willingness to undergo further training
