The Role

We’re looking for an Accountant/Administrator to join our team in our newly renovated office in Hamburg, Germany. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) in-office position, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, detail-oriented environment. You’ll support our finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager and a full-time Accountant to ensure smooth operations across accounting, administration, and payroll functions.

What You’ll Do

Finance & Accounting Support

• Vendor management and handling debt, including dunning letters.
• Bank postings and preparation of liquidity overviews for management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
  
  

Administration

• Manage company insurance policies.
• Coordinate payroll with our external payroll provider:
• Prepare and check monthly payslips.
• Maintain HR files in collaboration with the payroll partner.
• Oversee fleet management for company cars (5–10 vehicles), including leasing contracts, registration, and damage administration.
• Administer time-reporting systems and other office tasks as needed.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in finance, accounting, or administration.
• A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Availability to work 4–5 days per week (e.g., 4 hours/day for 5 days or 5 hours/day for 4 days).
• Ability and willingness to work in-office as main basis with potential for remote work on case-by-case basis.
• Fluency in written and spoken German is required; English proficiency is a plus.
